IMPORTANT RESERVATION POLICY UPDATE

 

 

To provide the best possible service for ALL our guests, we now require a valid credit card to secure reservations for parties of 5 or more.

SECURED BOOKING POLICY

This reservation policy started being implemented on December 1st, 2025. It’s a Standard Credit Card Hold: It applies for Reservations of 5 guests or more.

 We are a small family-owned business.

Every single table in our dining room matters immensely to our daily success.

Before implementing this policy, we used to face a challenge with larger parties showing up incomplete or not showing up at all, without letting us know. When there is a table of five or more, we have to put 2 tables or more together to accommodate everyone. If they cancel at the last minute or they just don't show up, it hurts us deeply. It means we turned away other hungry guests who were looking to dine with us, we’ll have a server who is gonna be grumpy because their night at work is now ruined, and our hard working kitchen staff did all the extra prep work for nothing, and sadly some of our fresh ingredients may go to waste.

To protect our business and our team's hard work, we introduced a new reservation safety net. Starting December 1st, 2025, we require a credit card to hold any reservation for five or more guests.

Please, Note the Following:

 

A $25 PER GUEST FEE ONLY APPLIES,

IF THE PARTY DOESN’T HONOR THEIR RESERVATION, OR IF IT'S NOT CANCELED WITHING THE APROPRIATE CANCELLATION TIME WINDOW.

 

RESERVATIONS MUST BE CANCELED OR MODIFIED AT LEAST 4 TO 24 HOURS IN ADVANCED. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO SERVE OTHER GUESTS WHO ARE EAGERLY LOOKING FORWARD TO DINE WITH US :)

At CIBO Italian Restaurant & Bar, we’re not just serving meals—we create memories together over a delicious meal.

 

As a small, family-owned Italian restaurant, every reservation is very important to us, not just for filling seats, but for supporting our dedicated team who work hard  and look forward to create a memorable dining experience for everyone.

 

When a reservation is not honored, it impacts us all  in different negative ways:

 

Our Chefs and their hard working team spend hours getting fresh ingredients ready to prepare delicious meals, and last-minute changes mean their hard work, and rushing through their prep was for nothing :( and sadly some of our fresh ingredients may go to waste.

 

Our Hostesses may have been expecting your party, and when the party doesn't arrive, they are left scrambling to adjust the seating chart, affecting the experience for others. And let me tell you, they also have to deal with grumpy, sad and dissapointed servers.

 

Our Servers rely on your reservation to plan their shifts and ensure they’re giving their best service to everyone. No Tables, No Tips :(

 

We know that life happens, and we understand that plans change. That’s why we ask that if you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please give us at least  4 hours notice, or just call us as soon as you know your plans change so we can adjust accordingly. This simple gesture helps us continue to serve you and others with the care you all deserve.

 

This policy is clearly stated during booking and reinforced in confirmation calls, helping set guest expectations while protecting the restaurant staff from last-minute losses.
